HOMOGENIZATION OF METAL GRID REINFORCED COMPOSITES FOR NEAR-FIELD LOW FREQUENCY MAGNETIC SHIELDING

چکیده

The purpose of this paper is to provide simple analytical homogenization methods for composite materials containing a metallic wire grid. Estimating their effective electrical properties facilitates the numerical simulation structures shielding applications in automotive industry. presented are based on surface impedance approaches and media theory. obtained results show that described grid composites can be accurately estimated bounded, using proposed theories low frequency range. limits vary according studied sample. For materials, validity shown up few megahertz. experimental validation done by measuring effectiveness samples near-field test bench.
